WHAT
Dreaming Youngstown-Open Library of Possibilities wants to activate a dreaming and brainstorming process in the people of Youngstown about what this former steel city could become, one plot at a time. Between October 2011 and August 2012, thoughts, visions and dreams will be collected into a library and stored in an open and dynamic manner on the Internet. Everyone is welcome to contribute. As an open source library, any idea within it may be reworked into a new idea, vision or project AND put into action. Ultimately, dreams will also be organized into both physical bus tours as well as downloadable tours that anyone can take around the city.
